Cylinder 60cm3 posiada większy tłok a dokładniej średnice.
Oryginalnie jest to tłok(nominalny) o średnicy: 37,965 (-0,03) mm (tutaj zależy jeszcze od tego czy jest to tłok NC NB czy NA).
Cylinder natomiast ma średnice 38 (+0,027) mm.
Cylinder 60cm3 ma większą średnice i wynosi ona chyba ok. 40mm albo 41mm (jeżeli się nie mylę).
Tak więc jeżeli troszkę pomyślisz dojdziesz do wniosku, że jeżeli cylinder posiada większą średnicę to zmieści się w nim więcej mieszanki co wywoła większy/potężniejszy wybuch co powinno dać Tobie więcej mocy. Tak pokrótce...
A co do pierścieni to jeżeli chodzi o silnik Jawa 223 to były tłoki z 2 i 3 pierścieniowe. Te 3 pierścieniowe dawały to, że był większy stopień sprężania.

Liczbę pierścieni dobiera się do każdego silnika z zależnością im większe obroty kręci silnik tym pierścionków jest mniej i są niższe żeby zmniejszyć opory tarcia, więcej pierścieni stosuje się np w silnikach diesla które są wysoko sprężone i osiągają bardzo niskie obroty.
stopień sprężania to matematyczny parametr wyliczany na podstawie całkowitej objętości cylindra oraz objętości komory spalania, niema nic wspólnego z liczbą pierścieni na tłoku
przy zwiększaniu średnicy tłoka należy pamiętać też o masie tłoka im cięższy tym silnik osiągnie niższe obroty a tłoków tak lekkich jak w oryginalnych komarach niestety się już nie kupi
